PVP: The Series – Q&A


  1. What is PVP: The Series?

A: PVP: The Series, is an animated series based on the webcomic, Player vs. Player (PVP). The Series is a co-production between Toonhound Studios and Blind Ferret Entertainment. All episodes are written by Scott Kurtz.


  1. How often and where are PVP episodes going to be released?

A: A new PVP episode will be released each month at www.pvponline.com. New PVP episodes will be announced on www.pvponline.com each month. In addition, subscribers will receive an email to let them know that a new episode has been released.


  1. How long will each episode be?

A: During Season 1, episodes will be between 4-8 minutes in length. We hope to be able to create longer episodes in future seasons.


  1. Will the episodes be downloadable?

Yes, all PVP episodes will be downloadable in various formats for your PC and mobile devices.


  1. Will the episodes be subtitled?

A: The first few episodes will not be subtitled initially. We are currently working to try and make the technology available for future episodes. In the meantime, anyone can request a transcript of an episode.


  1. I’ve paid for the full season, when do I start to see the episodes?

A: The 1st episode of PVP: The Series is scheduled to be released on February 1, 2007. If you’ve purchased the subscription prior to February 1, 2007, you will be able to access this site, however it will not count towards your 1-year subscription, which officially begins on February 1, 2007.


  1. Will the episodes be available on DVD at the end of the season?

Yes. At the end of each season, we will be putting all 12 episodes on DVD. The DVD will also include bonus material, to be determined at a later date. Subscribers to the animated series will receive a discount on purchasing the DVD when it becomes available.
